Francis nodded. "Sounds like a good plan, if it wouldn't be too much trouble for you." he replied and got out his books from his schoolbag. Hopefully it wasn't too much to catch up with.

Arthur and the other students had only been in school for a few weeks, so there wasn't that much for Francis to catch up on. After a while of going over material, Arthur asked, "Is there anything you want to work on for today?"

"Maybe history to start with?" Francis suggested. He was pretty good at history himself so it'd be nice to start with an easier subject.

Arthur helped Francis catch up with everything to the best of his ability, occasionally glancing over at him to make sure he at least looked like he was understanding everything. "Everything making sense?" Arthur asked after going over some things.

Francis made notes as Arthur went through everything he'd missed and nodded. "Yes, it's a lot but I get what most of it." he said smiling.

Arthur couldn't help but smile ever so slightly to himself. He had actually helped someone, and he was proud of that. "Good," he said before wondering what to do next. He decided to give both of their brains a break and ask, "So, um, how do you like it here so far?"

Francis in return smiled because Arthur had proved to be really helpful and he actually got something done. Though he was also glad they took a small break. "It's very different from my old school and country, but it's alright. Just so overwhelming and noisy. But studying here like this is nice." he said honestly.

"I like the quiet here," Arthur said almost absentmindedly. "And I think you'll be fitting in soon enough." Sooner than me, he added, but to himself.

Francis smiled. He could understand why. When it was noisy all day it was nice to retreat in the library after classes. Maybe Francis would do so too. "Ah thank you, I hope so. I really don't want to fall behind even though it's my first day.' he said happy to hear that.

"Did you get this much attention in one day back in France?" Arthur asked, honestly curious. He tried to keep any negative tone out of his voice, hoping Francis wouldn't be able to detect it.
