Francis chuckled. "Yes, I'm nice like that." He said with a grin and stuffed his book away in his bag. Francis was getting close to calling Arthur a friend already.

"That's good. I know too many unkind blokes here," Arthur said as he finished packing up his stuff. "Glad I know at least one good person."

Francis zipped up his bag. He smiled. "Right back at you." he said and slung his bag over his shoulder. "Want to walk home togerher for a few streets?"

Arthur only thought about that for a second. It would be rude to say no after everything, so he nodded in agreement. He walked outside with Francis to see a few clouds dotting the sky. "The weather can be pretty cold and dark here sometimes," he said. "Is it ever like that in France?" Arthur liked it that way sometimes: cold and dark. But he could see Francis wasn't like that.

Francis looked up at the slightly clouded sky. "Not normally. It's usually very sunny and warm. Of course sometimes it would rain and snow and such. But I don't like dark weather so much."

Arthur figured that the warmth and sun fit Francis more than it did him. As the two of them walked, he pointed out places that he thought would be interesting or important, helping Francis get more used to everything in England.

Francis listened intently to Arthur pointing all kinds of places out. It was nice to get more aquianted with the area he lived in. SOon they had to part ways. "Thanks Arthur, for showing me around already a bit."

"You're welcome," Arthur replied. "I'll see you tomorrow at school." He waved goodbye before parting ways to head to his house. He was actually glad he had spent some time with Francis after school instead of being anti-social.

"See you tomorrow." Francis said waving at him and he walked home. He was glad to have made a friend on his first day who'd agreed to help him catch up.

Just as he said he would, Arthur walked into his first class with Francis the next day. He was a little appalled by the girls just waiting for Francis to walk in and take his seat. He sat far enough away to be away from them while still being pretty close to Francis.
