When you're new... (French admirer & British Spy)

[French Admirer]

Francis shrugged. "I don't see why I would mind." he said grabbing his bag and went with Arthur to the cafeteria. They sat at one of the smaller tables in the back.

"Thank you," Arthur said as he sat with Francis. "It's nice to have someone willing to sit with me at lunch." He was worried that that made him sound like a loner, so he added, "Not that I minded being alone all the time. It's just nice for a change."

Francis smiled and nodded. "It's okay Arthur. It's nicer to sit with someone at lunch rather than spend it alone." he said understanding what Arthur meant. "Besides, we're friends right?" the words came from his lips so naturally.

Arthur looked over at Francis silently while he thought about what to say back. Then he smiled and said, "Yeah, it's pretty nice having a friend to sit with."

"Yes it is." He agreed with a happy smile, glad he hadn't messed up and glad he was also considered a friend. They lined up to get lunch from the cafetaria.

(Sorry if I don't always reply right away. ^^; I have finals coming up so I'm a bit busier than I used to be.)

Arthur was happy to have someone to talk to for once at lunch. He got his food with Francis and sat at the table to talk more then they were able to at the library.

Francis followed Arthur and joined him at the table in the back, but there were people paying attention to them. Though Francis decided not to recognize it. "So what do you like to do outside school?" he asked him just to get to know his friend a bit better.
