Across Enemy Lines

[Aeris]

Aeris slowly trailed after Aero. He didn't know how the residents were going to interact with him, so it was best to stay alert and cautious.

[Denmark]

Aero filled his tank completely and noticed a few of the local residents staring or whispering amongst themselves. "Do you have a doctor around here?" He asked, motioning to Aeris' tire.

[Aeris]

Aeris didn't have anything to say, so he just stayed quiet, waiting for an answer.

[Denmark]

An old Hudson came forward and spoke with a gruff voice. "Follow me." He said to Aeris and drove off to his shop without another word.

[Aeris]

The young hybrid blinked in surprise by his blunt attitude, but followed anyway. He nearly flinched at the swinging doors, then mentally scolding himself for being such a scaredy cat over something stupid...like doors.

[Denmark]

Doc glanced back at the young car and let out a single, gruff huff. "Lemme look at that tire of yours." He said and motioned for Aeris to come closer, not caring about his bluntness.

[Aeris]

Aeris hesitated before he moved forward so he was close enough, trying to hide signs of his obvious anxiety problem.

[Denmark]

Doc rolled up closer to the hybrids wheel and made a "hmm" noise, obviously thinking. "I can get you a new rim and tire but those ones are trashed. You should probably just get new ones before the rest do the same thing." He said. "Across the street, there's a tire shop. Go there." Doc added, backing away.

[Aeris]

Aeris nodded before doing exactly as he was told, although becoming highly uncomfortable with the little italian car and forklift being rather...hyper. Where they always this way? The town seemed pretty use to their behavior, so that had to be a yes. Well, at least he'd be getting new tires and rims. Overall he wasn't surprised that his old ones caught. They were so old it was going to get caught in something anyway at any time. Now he wouldn't have to worry about that for a while.

Aero found Ramone, the car that did body paint. He got a new color, dark blue, to cover his Pace Car yellow, and removed the Pace Car light on his roof. When he pulled out of the shop, his paint job glimmered, the paint being the metallic kind. Spotting Aeris, he rolled over. "How'd it go with that doctor car...?" He asked.
